These settings live under Settings → Scheduling rules. A preview under them shows, for each weekday you fulfil, which delivery day those orders arrive on.

Setting

What it does

Store timezone

Cutoff times and delivery dates are worked out in this timezone.

Fulfilment days

The days you pack and send orders.

Fulfilment cutoff time

Orders placed after this time (24-hour, e.g. 14:00) are fulfilled on your next fulfilment day.

Delivery time

How long parcels take to arrive after you send them, counted in delivery days.

Preparation days

Extra fulfilment days an order needs before it can be sent, such as made-to-order goods. Usually 0.

Delivery days

The days customers can choose for delivery.

How far in advance can customers order?

No limit, a number of months from today, or a specific date.

How the earliest date is worked out

Dalbie Dates starts from the next fulfilment day the order can make (today, if it’s before your cutoff), adds any preparation days, then the delivery time, and offers the first delivery day from there. Days that are full, blocked or past your booking limit are skipped.

For example, with fulfilment Monday to Friday, a 14:00 cutoff and one day’s delivery time, an order placed on Tuesday at 10:00 can arrive on Wednesday. Placed at 15:00, it’s fulfilled on Wednesday and arrives on Thursday.

Days customers can’t choose

The calendar only offers days that a fulfilment day can actually reach. If you deliver on Saturday but don’t fulfil on Friday, and delivery takes one day, nothing arrives on Saturday, so customers can’t choose it. The settings preview tells you when that happens.
