Nominated delivery means the customer chooses the day their order arrives, instead of waiting for “3–5 working days”. It’s also called nominated day delivery, scheduled delivery or a delivery date picker. Dalbie Dates adds it to your Shopify store, and only offers the days you can actually achieve.
What your customers see
A delivery calendar on the product page, the cart page and the cart drawer, on every plan, and in checkout on Shopify Plus. Days you can’t deliver, and days that are full, can’t be chosen.
The price of each day on the calendar, such as $9.95 on a Saturday, if you turn on delivery prices (Growth and Plus).

What makes the dates ones you can keep
A date picker on its own lets customers choose any day. Dalbie Dates works out which days to offer from:
Your delivery days and packing days, your daily cutoff and how long parcels take, so the earliest date is one you can make. See Delivery days, cutoff and lead time.
How many orders each day can take. A day closes on your store the moment it’s full. Products that run out first can have their own limit. See Daily and product limits, and availability windows.

What you get on each order
Every dated order has an order tag (such as ND-Delivery: 2026/10/23), a “Delivery date” attribute and a “Fulfill by” date, so your team and your other apps can read it. Home shows what to fulfil today and the next two weeks against each day’s limit. See Order tags and fulfilment.

Questions
Can customers choose a time as well as a day? No. Dalbie Dates offers delivery days, not time slots.
Does it work without Shopify Plus? Yes. Customers choose their date on the product page, cart page or cart drawer on every plan. Only the date picker inside checkout needs Shopify Plus.
Can I charge more for some days? On Growth and Plus, each delivery day can offer its own shipping rates, such as only your Saturday rate on Saturdays, and the calendar can show each day’s price.
